Cleared graphics still show in generated report intermittently

I'm running into an issue where a workflow triggered from from the vertigis studio web toolbar only sometimes removes the graphic of the polygon generated from a geometry picker used in the tool for area selection before running a report. The graphic always gets cleared when the tool is run, but still often shows up in the report still. I have tried adding a delay to the workflow and clearing it almost as soon as it's been created to give it time to be cleared before the report has run, but this does not seem to make a difference.

  I just ran into this also. My workflow, allows the user to select some features via the geometry picker and then launches a report, passing a screenshot of the map, as one of the inputs to the report. I have tried numerous approaches to remove the geom picker graphic, but no success so far. 

  Failed attempts:

  • clear graphics activity
  • map.clear-markup command
  • modifying geometry collection geometry collection to remove the geometry.

  Oddly, the only way I have found to remove the graphic, is another display form activity. As soon as the second form displays, the graphic disappears. 

  Not a good solution in my case as there is no need to show a second form.
