Hide specific layers within basemap from showing in legend
Good morning,
Has anyone figured out how to hide specific layers in a basemap from the legend? In Essentials you could add/remove layers from the basemap so they dont show in the legend. When you add a basemap to the basemap picker in VertiGIS you only get the choice to show the whole basemap in the legend (including all layers) or not show it. I want to hide specific layers within the basemap from the legend but still show some key layers.
I tried seeing if there was a way to do it via the Item Manager updating the app content but adding "showLegend": false against the sublayer didn't do anything.
Is there some other trick to it?

I am encountering the same challenge, and there does not seem to be a way to configure the Legend to show/hide different layers.
I've tried by hiding the Legend in the Web Map in ArcGIS Portal that is part of Studio Web and the Print template, however it still shows the layers that I had hid from the legend in the Web Map.

+1 this is also a pet peeve, to see the basemap layers listed with my scale dependency categories.

+1; This actually is a problem for us too - tried hiding within Studio Web and continually break the whole app… so have just left it for now but would be great to have this addressed. Thanks!
