Enterprise 11.3: Make Group Layers available in "Add layer from Esri-portal" component

After upgrading to ArcGIS Enterprise 11.3, a new data type has been introduced: Group Layers.

Group layers are created by combining two layers into a group layer, which can then be saved in the portal using 'Save As.' Here is an example of a group layer with two WMS services:

The advantage of these group layers is that you can control which layers are visible when the layer is opened, which is a functionality we desire when users add a layer from the 'Add layer from Esri portal' component. Here shown in the map viewer:

Currently, when users open a service with multiple layers, all of them are enabled, which I assume would be resolved if these group layers were implemented.

After a brief test, it appears that the group layers are not currently compatible with 'Add layer from Esri portal.' However, I believe it would provide great value for administrators, who need to manage which layers users can add and which should be enabled or disabled when the layer is added to their VertiGIS solution.
