Scale picker limited by switching basemaps

Hi,

We recently reported an issue with the Scale Picker in our VSW 5.28.1 app. We use a few webmaps that have different tiling schemes and scales. When switching between vector tile basemaps and other basemap types, the available scales in the Scale Picker (and by scrolling) get stuck at the max zoom level of the previous basemap choice. This behaviour can only be resolved by refreshing the app (until switching between basemaps re-introudces the issue).

VertiGIS logged the issue as a regression (starting from VSW 5.27) - BUG-261098 "application's max zoom level gets stuck at a lower level of detail when switching between basemaps configured with different max zoom levels".

The issue can easily be reproduced even in the main demo app (https://apps.vertigisstudio.com/web/) with these steps:

change basemap to Oceans (a map service that stops at 1:9028)
change basemap back to Streets (a vector tile service that stops at 1:71) -- the scale picker still only goes to 1:9028 (incorrect)
change basemap to Dark Gray Canvas (a vector tile service that stops at 1:71) -- the scale picker still only goes to 1:9028 (incorrect)
change basemap to Imagery (a map service that stops at 1:71) -- the scale picker updates and now goes to 1:71 (correct)

Since, the bug is not prioirtized for a fix (yet), I'm posting to bring the above to the community's attention - as I suspect other users will have had similar issues. Please, upvote if you think a fix deserves more priority.
