Connections Feature Request (Roll a connection's Transmit and Receive)

Hello VertiGIS,

We are submitting a product idea for ConnectMaster that our client would like to see implemented. They are requesting a feature that allows rolling the fibers from Tx to Rx and vice versa directly from the connection sheet. This functionality would streamline their duplex connections.

Example:

Currently, when managing duplex connections, our client has to manually switch the fibers from Tx (Transmit) to Rx (Receive) and vice versa. This process involves multiple steps and can be time-consuming. By introducing a button or function within the connection sheet, users could perform this switch with a single click, significantly improving efficiency.

Proposed Feature:

• Button/Function Location: Within the connection sheet interface.
• Action: Roll fibers from Tx to Rx and vice versa.

Benefit: Streamlines the process of managing duplex connections, saving time and reducing the potential for errors along with testing procedures.

  We have the need for the same functionality. Our thoughts are, to have the option to

  -  toggle existing connections on the same side
   

  

  - toggle existing connection of different sides (also for empty connection points)
