Open Beta for .NET 200.x MAUI release of VertiGIS Studio Go
Angeheftet AngesagtBETA IS LIVE
Current beta build: 5.31.0.327 – August 21, 2024
There is still work to be done before this is ready for a production release, but we’ve addressed all the functional issues we could find. You may notice small visual discrepancies. A font doesn’t look quite right, something isn’t quite the right size, something isn’t quite centered. We’ve got a number of these that are known, and we are working through while the beta runs. Here are some other more significant known issues.
- (iOS, Android) Adding vertices to a feature when in non-crosshair mode does not place them accurately.
- (All) Changing basemaps after scrolling through legend content will sometimes throw errors
- (Android) Panels do not resize properly when device orientation changes
- (Android) Clicking on an attachment in a long list of attachments causes the list to scroll, rather than opening the attachment
- (iPhone) Opening the map area basemap picker causes the app to shift up incorrectly.
- (All) Checkbox toggle doesn’t respect branding accent color
Open Beta for .NET 200.x MAUI release of VertiGIS Studio Go
As you likely already know, the 5.30 release of VertiGIS Studio Mobile was the last planned release on Esri's ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET 100.x
The team is very close to having a release candidate of VertiGIS Studio Mobile (VertiGIS Studio Go) based upon the Esri Maps SDK for .NET 200.x (MAUI).
We are inviting our partners and customers to try their existing VertiGIS Studio Mobile applications out on this new version of VertiGIS Studio Go and provide feedback.
The basics
- Find a device (iOS, Android) or Windows machine you can test with
- Acquire the beta version of VertiGIS Studio Go
- Try your existing app(s)
- Tell us if you find anything we need to know.
Please leave your feedback right here on this forum post, the whole team will be active here.
iOS, Android, and Windows stores are quite different, so we've captured the basic process for acquiring the beta platform by platform below.
The dialogs and version numbers may be slightly different, but the flow should be the same.

Hi Cam, great news! Are there any improvments compared to previous version that come from introducing the .NET 200.x MAUI sdk?

Hi Guido. Our goal was to make this underling foundational change as invisible as possible. For the beta, we wanted the same features, functions, and capabilities as the existing production version of VSM.
There are improvements overall on the technology foundation front. We were able to see improved performance in many areas as an example. Once this transition to the new Esri foundation is complete, we can then begin to add new commands and options to VSM that are only available within the .NET 200. MAUI sdk such as Utility Network specific capabilities (.e.g disconnected tracing of UN).1 -
