Automatic Updates - Allow user to control updates

Hello,

We have noticed a number of issues hit our viewers when new releases are pushed through. It would be great for us to have control over accepting new software releases, until we are confident new bugs aren't introduced in a new release version.

Currently, the updates are pushed through automatically to our prod. versions of VSW. It would be great if an email was sent out, giving a heads up that a new release is coming through. 

Just noticed a couple issues with V5.30 release.  Main issue → All my datalinks were wiped. And when I add them again, hit save, deploy, they do not show in prod version (I will put a ticket in for this).

This is obviously extremely frustrating, and impacts all our users.
