Custom component rerenders when geometry changes of a esri Graphic

Dear All,  I've made a custom component with a video in the component and there is a marker graphic on the map that follows the location of the video.  If I change the geometry of the marker graphic the custom component is rerendered.  When this is happening the video is flickering.

this.positionVideoOnMapGraphic.geometry = position;

The same happened when I add the graphic to a graphicslayer

Does someone have a solution for this ?  How can I remove the event that occurs the rerendering ?
