Editing component and service settings in web designer.

I'm new to VertiGis and made a custom component and service. Both have some settings in the app.json. I'm looking for a solution to make those settings editable within de web designer, simular to the ui show on the right side of the designer for out of the box components. Can anyone provide me with an example.
