Global Search Functionality in VertiGIS Studio Web

I've noticed that for a search to return results, the related layer (e.g., Parcels) must be active. Otherwise, no results appear. However, using the query function, even with the layer off, the system zooms to the result area, but without displaying data. This could be confusing for public users. Has anyone else experienced this, or know of a solution?
