Editing in GeoCortex

Are users able to edit data from an ArcGIS database in Geocortex?  If so, how do I make this possible?

  You can edit layers in an SDE database, if they are first served in ArcGIS Server with the feature server functionality enabled, and then added as feature layers from that feature server to an Essentials site.

  You will then be able to include the editing tools in your viewer's toolbar and edit these layers.

  Michelle,

  Just something additional since I got hung up on this.  You need AGS 10 to create the feature service. I only had 9.3.1, but I was able to create a feature service using a version of 10 that another department was running.  The documentation for how to set it up is on page 21 of the Silverlight 1.2 Admin & Dev Guide.

  I was able to get Editing function to work. However, I would like to restrict the users to edit the attributes only without editing the geometry (such as add, delete, or modify feature). Can I modify the site.xml or viewer.xml to achive the goal?
