Geocortex Agent does not start

I'm brand new to Geocortex and am finding that when I boot the server, Geocortex Agent does not start. I must always go into Windows Services and start it manually. How can I fix this? The virtual machine is running XP Professional SP3.

  Once you've started the service manually, it successfully starts then?  Likely the virtual machine has dependency problems.  The Geocortex Agent requires that the Net.Tcp Port Sharing Service is running (included with the Dotnet 4.0 Framework).  It sounds like this could be the problem for your VM.  If you are comfortable, try delaying the service startup for Agent (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/193888) or modify the registry to make the Agent depend on the Net.Tcp Port Sharing Service .

  Thanks for your reply, Shawn, but upon looking at the registry, I found Agent was already set to depend on NetTcpPortSharing. So I'm still faced with Agent not starting automatically. Any other ideas?
