MSD published but not in list
Today for the first time I tried outputting an MSD. Until now I'd only published MXDs. So I published to ArcGIS Server from ArcMap, and then tried to add it to an existing map in GE REST Manager. I went through the normal steps, but when I got to the list of map services, it only showed my previous MXD-based ones. I did not see my MSD-based mapservice. Is there another step to take to see an MSD map in GE REST Manager?

I should add that the MSD map service shows up as running fine in ArcGIS Server Manager.

Justin,
Does the service show up if you navigate to the REST endpoint? Frequently (for us at least) we need to go into the REST ADMIN (http://..../REST/admin ) and clear the REST cache. Otherwise you may have to wait quite a while for the REST cache to be cleared. Your new service(s) may not show up until this is done.
Hope this helps,
Peter.

Whether MXD or MSD shouldn't matter. Do you see the map service in a web browser?
For example, http://<yourserver>/arcgis/rest/services
The ArcGIS Server Manager is a great tool, but for troubleshooting I always start with what I can see in the web browser.

I would've followed up on this sooner, but I had posted right before going home for the weekend.
No, I did not see the service at the REST endpoint, so I followed Peter's advice and went into REST/admin to clear the cache. Having done so, I could see my map service! While in there I did notice the cache clearing had been set to manual, so I changed it to automatic. I'm still learning lots about ArcGIS Server here. I'm still very ArcIMS-grounded. Thanks for the help Steve and Peter.
