Deleted a Data Link in GE Manager BUT IT'S STILL THERE
I deleted a data link in GeoCortex Essentials Manager for REST Elements. I saved the site. The link is no longer in the Site.xml. However, it still works in the viewer and in the REST Endpoint.
Any ideas? Do the sites get cached? Is there an admin portal similar to ArcGIS Server REST where I can clear the cache? I have open-closed my browser. IE opens a new page each time I visit a site. I tried on a different PC. I tried on Mozzila. The data link will not delete.
Thanks

Viewers are cached in C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\REST\App_Data\SiteCache
Sites cached... I don't think so.. But if your able to when doing such changes i sometimes bounce IIS just to clear everything down. I've also sometime bounced my geocortex agent service as well to give me a fully cleared down enviro although i don't believe this will help you out much in your case.
I would recommend having a look at the site.xml (C:\Program Files\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sites\<site name> to confirm data link has been removed & if not & your comfortable you could edit xml directly (otherwise go & re-apply the change & see what happens).
Stupid question, but just ensure you save your change (apologies for insulting your intelligence!); its just sometimes you can get caught out with this.
Is the site an original & not a copy?

You might also want to ensure you cleared your browser cache down but i don't think this again is your issue.

I did check the Site.xml and it is no longer there. I have cleared the browser cache. I also saved the site after deleting the data link (not a stupid question, I forget all the time). I will check IIS, etc... on the server side to see if this helps.
Thanks

The site is the original. Although, I have made a copy of the site. However, this is not the site I am working on.

Removed the ..._BAK.xml file in the site folder and that worked. We can't figure out why it was holding on to that file despite changes made in both GE Manager and the Site.xml directly. Simply deleting that BAK file worked.
