Problem adding a report in REST Manager

Good day,

I'm trying to add a report to a layer in the REST Manager but am experiencing some difficulties. After I fill the display name and description window then browse to the template and click finish, I get the following message in red :

The Location is not a valid report template. Please ensure that the template is a valid 'rpx' file and that all subreport references are correct.

The report was created using the Report Designer and it still opens correctly from there. It's only a test report with a Main Map control, a legend control and a square shape. I haven't changed any of the controls properties yet as it is just a test.

Does anyone have an idea on what may be causing this?

  Andrea,

   

  Suggest you do a search against 'not a valid report' on SL forums - there's a few floating about referencing to some known issues.  For example, check out  http://support.geocortex.com/Forums/Thread.aspx?pageid=0&mid=2&ItemID=7&thread=45499&postid=131137

  Thank you very much Brad, I believe I just may have found the problem with the referenced thread. I will try the solution tomorrow at the office.
