Global Search Not Working

Hi All,

My global search has stopped working properly. It will work on some fields and some values in those fields, but then not others.  I have been troubleshooting this for hours, checked my data, services, site configuration and viewer with no luck at resolving it. Has anyone else come across this problem and know how to fix it?

  We have the same problem.  The global search was working well, and today we noticed that the search results are odd.  The first result pops up correctly, then it thinks for a while and returns 1000+ completely wrong results.  Our 1st correct result is then all the way at the end of the list.

  I checked the data and all of the global search settings but I can't see why this is happening.  The incorrect results don't even include the string that was searched for, so I don't understand where they are coming from.

  The only other change I can think of is that we recently upgraded to GE 3.14 and GVS 1.9 (from 3.11 and 1.7).

  Not sure where to go from here.
