Wrong Label in the results window

    Hi Peter,

The text that appears in the results list is configured in the site, not the workflow. Open up your site in Rest Manager, and go to Map, and then edit the layer in question. Under the Details tab there is a Feature Label. If you click edit beside the text box, you can choose a field, insert it into the label, and when that feature is a result from a workflow, global search, or identify operation, the field(s) you specified in the Feature Label will show up.

Similarly, you can add a Feature Description which will show up as additional information underneath the main text in the results list, and a Feature Long Description which will show up on the Details tab in the Feature Details window, and in any map tips when they are enabled.

    Hi Victoria,

Thank you for the response. That seemed to do the trick!

I am having a similar issue!!  Please help!  I have already changed the Feature Label under details prior to even adding my workflows.  It looks like this when I identify a feature:

This is what it looks like when I choose the same item via my workflow combobox:

It is not displaying the correct label, description, nor the related table information.  This "Topo USGS 100K" is NOT anywhere inside my attribute table for this layer nor in the related tables, but it is the name of another layer in another map service that I am using in one of the themes.  This label (and sometimes other Topo layer names) is showing up on all 3 of my workflows for 3 different layers.

Sounds like maybe your workflow is pointing to the wrong layer?

I don't think so, because it is properly querying the correct lake in the correct layer in the correct map service...  it's just displaying incorrectly...

HA!  I spoke too soon!  You are so right Peter!  Thanks!  Apparently I had the wrong map ID in the "display selection" part of the workflow.  THANK YOU!!!!!  I feel silly but workflows are very very new to me!
