Hide data links with no records
Essentials 3.9 includes a Visible property for data links - this will definitely be useful for creating hidden data links, thanks for including it.
An enhancement suggestion for the GVS (& HTML?) is to have data links that contain no records be hidden by default - empty links take up valuable space in the feature details window.
Thanks,
Nate

I am actually trying to use this "visible" field in a DataLink, and I am confused about its purpose.
Let me explain:
In a datalink called "myDataLink" , I create a SQL that returns a field called "locationsid"
I want to use the token {myDataLink.locationsid} in a URL in my layer Feature Long Description. Everything works fine: Geocortex substitutes the {myDataLink.locationsid} text with my ID from the SQL result.
However, there is now a new tab called "myDataLink" in the Expand View: I don't want to see it - .
So I uncheck the "Visible" tick box in myDataLink : but if I do this it stops working: the conversion of {myDataLink.locationsid} is no longer done by Geocortex (making my URL incorrect)
What is the purpose of this "visible" check box in DataLink definition. If hiding it prevents it from working altogether?
