search maps & embed in Web Page

We're redesign our corporate web site and I'd like to more fully integrate the map viewers.  One complaint I often get is the the drop down menu on the splash screen.  Users just don't realize that other maps are available!  If the splash screen could be redesigned to include thumbnail images of the maps and metadata about layers available, that would be a huge improvement.

Also, this may already be possible but it would be great if we could imbed HTML5 viewers directly into web pages!
