Search result output as tabular view

I have workflows that search on my layers and display the results in the ResultsRegion. I'd like to get the results to display in Tabular View rather than List View, but I can't seem to get this to work.

I've set the Results Frame properties in the Look and Feel area of the viewer configuration so that Results View Mode is "Tabular", but I still get List View. Oddly enough, even though the results display in List view, I get the option to select List View in the Results Region. When I click on that, nothing happens other than it providing me the Table View option. Then when I click on Table View, it switches to tabular.

Curiously, when I use the global search, the results appear in Table view from the start. So obviously this has something to do with my workflows. Any suggestions?

I'm using Essentials 3.10 with the Silverlight viewer 1.6 and Workflow Designer 2.11.0.170.

  Hi Steven,

  Try adding a RunExternalCommand task after the SelectFeatures task in your workflow, and use the command name "SwitchToTabularResultsView", with no parameter.
