Allow to Identify & raster/dem/dtm
Hi,
I'm struggling to find on the forum posts (i'm sure its there as i was interested in this topic 6 months ago) any info re current status of being able to enable identify on raster-based datasets? Can anyone clarify whether this functionality is supported in Geocortex?
I'm aware of the profile tool module in Code Gallery but just intrigued that identify operation is not part of the core product?

This functionality is still not supported in Essentials. We have received a few requests for it, and it is on our radar. You are listed as a stakeholder on the report.

could you please add us to the list also... we're about to rasterize a good deal of our radio propagation models, to speed up drawing times (very detailed polys!), so an identify option would be great.

Any progress/update on this? Raster identification is pretty important for research and modeled data outputs and does not seem like it should be to difficult to support?

Me three!!! We need to be able to identify pixels that have elevation values for our terrain models.
Any update?
These pixels identify fine in the MXD within ArcGIS Desktop.
Would it be possible to write a workflow to perform this operation?

Since I just saw an announcement for Essentials 4.0, I assume we would need to upgraded to this release to take advantage of this raster identify?
How difficult will it be to migrate silverlight sites from Essentials 3.14 to v 4.0 and Silverlight Viewer 1.9 to 2.0?
Will the raster identify also work in the HTML5 Viewer 2.0?

Wanted to put my 2 cents in on this as well. I am still looking for this to be supported in Geocortex so that our staff can determine the Flood Elevation of a pixel on the map - Easily accomplished in ArcMap, but not here. Any update from Geocortex staff as to the expected resolution to these requests?

any news about raster identify tool, we got Geocortex few months ago and after managing all required data and building test application I was shocked that identify tool does not read pixcel values, which actually kill my application :-(
75% of the data I use are raster and now I am searching for a solution, any idea ?? is it possible to modify the identiy tool, if yes then I will try it myself if I get any guidline, or is there a way to build a new tool, or workfolw to read raster values.

+1 on this capability, or an update on the status of the enhancement request. I currently provide this in our ESRI Flex Viewer for Ground Snow Load elevations and general elevations from our DEM for users. It simply reports the pixel value of the cell.
If this has not yet been implemented, please add me as a stakeholder! Thanks.
