Tab layout - Multirow rather than Single row (GVH-11689)
Hi to all
currently the Additional Details pop-up window lays out the linked data as a series of Tabs in a single row. It doesn't take too much in the way of the number of datalinks for the user to need to awkwardly scroll by clicking or using a mouse down on the left or right triangles that indicate the presence of more tabs in a given direction.
Unless the user know that the tab is there with useful information they will not necessarily find it.
Is it possible to get the tab control modified so that when the width of the window is occupied then additional rows of tabs are created that behave in a similar way to the Tools/Options tab in Excel does ie the second row are not sub tabs of the row above but equally ranked?
Or conversely be able to group datalinks together that have a similar source or purpose so that they have a Tab (groupName) and sub tabs for the datasources within that group. This could be even more powerful and useful. Ie a hierarchy of datalinks. Not quite a tree control but would perform a similar hierarchical grouping.
Thanks
Ralph
