How to add mark up to selected search result

I have an html5 viewer that I want to add a mark up icon to show search result locations? The default allows for pan to and zoom to functionality, but the exact point is transparent. How can I get this to show for the user?

Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Are you using workflow ? if yes , you can drag the  Run External Command to your workflow in command Name name type "AddTemporaryMarkupGeometry" this command will highligh the selected point.Hope it helps

  Thanks Ramla, I'll give that a try. I didn't have a workflow, but was wondering if there was something I could add to the json.js files to have the default bing search result in mark up that could be cleared. I will see if I can replicate that with a geocode service to mark up process.
