Set Scale Dependency of public map services

Dear forum.

I have created a site, including two services:

a) a services from my own server, with operational layers and

b) a service from ESRI, the StreetMap

/customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000e88MZEAY

The service from ESRI can only be zoomed in to a certain scale 1:2500, which affects the whole map.

I would like to specify, that the ESRI map service should be turned of at scale 1:2500, which I hope would result in that I can zoom further in to my own data in the Elfaville service.

Is this possible?

Typically a customer would have operational layers with their own data, and basemaps from public services. Therefor the basemaps from public servers should not restrict the scale of all the services in a map.

Hi Anne, If you are using the Silverlight viewer, on the Rest Manager you can go to Viewers -> Silverlight -> Edit -> Map module -> Settings and set the “Minimum resolution” to a very small number, like 0.000001. In that way you will be able to zoom in more than the public map limit. However, currently it is not possible to change a public map service visibility based on the scale you are at.
