Invoke Workflow From Child Window

I have the need to Refresh a Layer in the Map after/when a "Child" Window closes. I assume I could create a Workflow that would refresh a specific layer or layers but how could I execute that workflow from some other action like closing a window that was opened from a hyperlink in the feature details list.
