Adding Edit Feature Cabapility to HTML5 Viewer

Hi Folks,

I coudn't find any document which show me how I can edit feature layer from HTML5. Can you please let me know, what should I do to add this module to HTML5 Viewer?

  Ahad,

  You'll need to create a workflow to perform your edits in the HTML 5 viewer and add it to the I Want To... menu.  We've been using workflows in the HTML 5 viewer to add/delete features and update records via the SQLNonQuery activity with success.

  I've posted add and delete feature workflows to the Code Gallery.  I don't think I've written an edit feature workflow yet, but you may find one in the workflow forum

  Thank you for your response. So you mean there is no way to add the edit capability to HTML5 like Silverlight? As you know, we just add it's module in silverlight, I want to know if any other simple way to do this in HTML5 ?!

  Hi Mary,

  Editing is supported in version 1.2 of the HTML5 viewer right out of the box. If you haven't moved to 1.2 yet, I suggest giving 1.2.1 a try next week when it comes out.
