Editing date/time field on iOS devices
On the HTML5 viewer 1.2 I am running into a problem saving edits to a date field from iOS devices. Desktop and Andriod mobile devices and edit and save edits to a date field on an editable map service layer however on an iOS device (phone or pad) the edit of the date field fails to save.
I saw a thread on changing the "allowUnsafeContent" to "true" in the tablet and handheld js files and have done that with no change to this problem.
Any other advice?

Hi Tim,
We've noticed some issues and inconsistencies with iOS's Date/time pickers that could be causing this. We're currently looking into these issues and will be rolling in any fixes into our upcoming 1.2.1 maintenance release.

Great news Jason! Thank you for replying. Not sure if the inconsistencies are device specific but so far I've tried iPhone 5 and iPad 2 with identical results. I'm setting up a couple of new iPads for our public works so I'll give it a try on those too.
Is there a timeline target for release of 1.2.1? and this is off topic but will there be any fixes for handling of coded value domains?...the handling of them seems to be inconsistent throughout the user experience.

1.2.1 will be available early next week. Coded value domain support will be improved for 1.3, which is targeted for a summer release.

The 1.2.1 patch did not resolve this issue on any of our iOS devices. Not change in behaviour at all, editing any date field still results in not being able to save the edit.

Is there a way for me to modify the html5 or javascript code to ignore the iOS date/time picker and force use of the Geocortex date/time picker? That seems to be working on desktop environments just fine.
Thanks.

I'm having the same issue with GE 3.13 and HTML5 1.2. All other fields work well, but cannot save edits to date fields. Anyone have a fix??

I'm curious about this too, because still in 2017 my users are complaining about this. They must scroll from 2007 to 2017 to set the inspection date on the iPads. They really need the Now button that there is in the Geocortex date/time picker. How can the iOS one be bypassed? 0
