Creating a Report with a SubReport

I am attempting to create a report using a sub report to get at a datalink that is a one to many relationship to a map layer.  I have my sub report rpx file created and my subreport box placed on my main rpx file that is associated to the map layer in goecortex.  In the properties for that "SubReport" Area, I have my tag as the sub report file name or in this case TreesSubReport.rpx, which is located in the same folder as this rpx.  And for the Report Name I have Tree Sub Report, when I go to goecortex and click on this report to run in, I get the "Specified Datatable "Tree Sub Report" does not exist in the dataset. 

Any idea as to why this does not work?

  Hi Chris,

  I believe that when the a report like the one you describe is created it gets passed a DataSet as it's data source. In that DataSet one of the tables will be the data from the spatial layer and each datalink will have it's own datatable. The way the a datatable is mapped to subreport is via the report name so try using the datalink id as the report name and see if that works.
