Limit editing of a feature layer to Attributes only?

Is there a way to limit editing of a feature service layer to attributes only?

Any advice is much appreciated?

  This is something we're working on for 1.3, along with a number of other enhancements.

  It looks liek this can be done by changing the ArcGIS Server Feature Access setting.

  Operations Allowed

   

  Create

   

  Delete

  Allow Geometry Updates
