Accessing a Secure External ArcGIS Server Map Service

Hello Everyone,

I'm attempting to add a map service published by a local conservation authority to my site, the service resides on an external server and has been secured. Through the process of our data sharing agreement, a token has been generated for our server to access the service residing on their ArcGIS server.

The Add Map Service wizard requires that I include a username and password in order to access the server and generate a token but doesn't allow me to enter a the token I already have aquired. Therefore,  I am unsure how to effectively utilize the token in order to grant access to the service and include it within my site. I have  tried including the token within the connection string of the site.xml as described in a Geocortex REST Elements Admin Guide without success (Essentials 2.3.2)

Does anyone know how to solve this?
