Error accessing ArcGIS online secure content across AGOL organisation boundaries
Hi,
I have an AGOL Organization account in organization(A), which have been granted access to a group in another Organization (B).
The group in Org. B contains a Web Map I want to reference in GeoCortex Essentials.
In GE 3.15 I have registered Organization A as documented in the GE Online help. When I test this by referencing a web map from Org. A, I suceed in adding the web map to the site. But when I try to reference a web map in the shared group in Org. B I get an 403 error. "The remote server returned an error: (403) Forbidden."
Is this a bug or a current known limitation in Geocortex Essentials?
For your information I could search and find the web map in the GE Search AGOL dialog.
Thanks

I have a similar issue. I was able to get one step further by using the URL as it appears in the Organization that is linked to GE. For example, if Org B shared the web map and data with Org A, then Org A would have to use the URL generated from within their Org (A) not the one from Org B.
So I was able to successfully add the shared web map, but the data (hosted in Org B) was added with no errors or warnings but it does not render on the map in Manager. I opened the viewer to investigate further and I got a message saying it could not load the layers in question.
I tried to add the layers (hosted in Org B, but shared via a group to Org A, and using the URL from Org A) to the map in Manager directly from their service URL, but GE gives me no errors or warnings again in the Manager and just gets hung on the "Add Map Service" window.
Is it possible for GE to consume data hosted from a separate organization and shared via a private group without linking the Manager to multiple AGOL Organizations?0
