The Geocortex doesn’t automatically zoom when adding “shape file” or “CSV file”,

 

I’m wondering why the Geocortex doesn’t automatically zoom when adding “shape file” or “CSV file”. Why the end user is required to do so. Extra work with no justification!

  Jamal,

  An enhancement to the Viewer for Silverlight is currently under work that will address your request. In an upcoming version, there should be a configurable option to allow auto-zooming to the extent of user added layers. Batch Geocoding, Add CSV, Add Shapefile, and Layer Catalog modules should respect this configuration.   You have been added as a stakeholder in the enhacement report.
