Help with creating a workflow to read a CSV file

Can someone start me off with the workflow to open a CSV file and convert each line to a point object with x and y co-ordinates?

  Is there any specific reason not to use 'Batch Geodofing' feature in GVS described on the section '10.11.4 Configure Batch Geocoding' in GVS Adminstrator and Developer Guide.pdf'?

  Thanks for your reply, but yes importing a CSV and displaying is only part of my question.  I then need to do a bit more smarts with the Data in teh CSV. i.e process Polylines that will trace a disease outbreak based on a date also contains in teh CSV.
