Using the HTML5 viewer, can coordinates be passed as variables in the site URL for initial map extent?

  Yes. It looks like this:

  Syntax: extent=minX,minY,maxX,maxY or extent=minX,minY,maxX,maxY,wkid

  So your URL ends up looking like:

  http://server.domain.com/Html5Viewer_1_3/Index.html?extent=1441172.484,550015.006,1456136.010,537754.744

  or

  http://server.domain.com/Html5Viewer_1_3/Index.html?configBase=http://server.domain.com/Geocortex/Essentials/REST/sites/SiteName/viewers/ViewerName/virtualdirectory/Resources/Config/Default&extent=1441172.484,550015.006,1456136.010,537754.744

  Thank you for your quick reply yesterday.  Your sample worked as expected.  What I need now is to access the HTML5 Administrator and Developer Guide and I cannot find it anywhere.

  They are available in the download folder under the HTML5 version that you downloaded.  If you took the whole ZIP file, they should be whereever you extracted that to...
