    It is suppose to be quite long by default... ~1 day

    I went to re-test this on our side just now, I'm not seeing it of course. I'm assuming you are using the HTML Viewer?

    Yes, HTML5V 2.2.  Any idea where the value gets set?

    You can change it in the Security.xml ... however I'm not sure if it is a problem with the default value (1 day) or some kind of defect. I actually think it is more likely the latter.

    FYI: I would backup the file before changing it:

    <SecurityDetails xmlns="clr-namespace:Geocortex.Core.Security.Common">

      <ServiceDetails xmlns="clr-namespace:Geocortex.Core.Security.Integration.Windows">

        <GrantLifeSpan>P2D</GrantLifeSpan>

      </ServiceDetails>

    P2D is ISO speak for 2 days.

    If you could, capture for us a Fiddler trace of a sign-in followed by a few "refreshes". This could really help us with diagnosing the issue. Also, I really am reluctant to ask this, but are the server and/or client machines involved have the system clock set to the correct date/time?

    It may only be happening in IE.  It's not happeing in Chrome or on my Android.

    This is what's happeing in fiddler.

    Hello Dan,

    Could you provide the server version that is hosting Essentials, and the browser version that is accessing it?

    Thanks,

    Stefan

    Hi Dan,

    This is a bug (tracking #GE-4633). It only applies to IE 9 with GVH 2.2.  We are testing a fix now and expect to be able to turn around an update very quickly.

    The 4.1.1 maintenance release that is now available includes a resolution for this issue. Thanks for your patience.
