This is a known issue that we are tracking as bug# GVH-3804. It will be pulled into a future release, however I do not have a release date at this time.

    Best wishes, Pandora

Hi Pandora, has this issue been fixed now? I am having the same problem. The layer that is set to the largest scale range in ArcMap (1:1 -  1:1,128) will display at that scale in Geocortex, but layers at smaller scale ranges (1:1,129+) do not appear at their scales.

    Thanks,

    Hi Josh,

The issue that Bryan was asking about (GVH-3804) was resolved in viewer for HTML5 version 2.3, which was released in September of 2014. His issue was specific to the display of the legend in the layer list. It sounds like what you're seeing has to do with the viewer's display of the map layers themselves, is that correct? Would you be able to post some screenshots?

    Hi Jordan,

Yes it is to do with the viewer not displaying map layers at different scales.

For context, the two screenshots below show the problem I'm trying to fix. The pole symbols are fine at large scale  (1:1128) but when zoomed out to smaller scal (1:9028) they clutter the map.

In attempt to remedy this clutter isue i made four four layers in ArcMap that would display smaller symbology at smaller scales. As can be seen below the map layers does display at large scale, but when I zoom out past the scale range of this layer and into the others, they do not display.

Does this make sense? Feel free to ask any follow up questions to help clarify anything.

    Thanks

    Hi Joshua,

I have a couple questions I would like to follow up with:

    • You do not want the layer to turn off, but rather re-symboloize it so that the symbols are smaller?
    • What do you have set for the min/max visible values on the REST endpoint for the service?

    Thanks,

    Ali
