Add Map Service Error

Hello,

I get this error trying to connect to a map service in Essentials Manager:

 

There was an error connecting to the service.

Additional text encountered after finished reading JSON content: ]. Path '', line 1, position 123.

 

The service url is http://gis.thessaloniki.gr/ArcGIS2/rest/services/CachedServices/DimThes_greek_live/MapServer

It's just a tiled service with no underlying data, used as a basemap.

  George,

  Your ESRI map service appears to only have 2 layers with ID's of 0 and 3 respectively.  Usually this indicates that some layers could not be published for some reason (data source unavailable possibly?).  Essentials Manager (at least the 3.x versions) don't seem to like map services that have missing layers.  Can you either remove the missing layers or fix the problems with them, republish to arcgis Server and then try to add in Essentials Manager?
