Server change, updating user saved project files

Greetings,

We moved Essentials to a new box with a new URL and want to relink the saved project files.  The sites and services are all the same.  We did jump from 3.14 to 4.1.0 with no changes to the sites except updating the site.xml service paths (new ArcServer location).

Are the saved project files portable or should we gear up for a horde of users with pitch forks and torches?

  Hi Charles,

  Word on the street is that you need to install the latest version of Essentials on the old box before moving to the new server.  This allows the project files to gracefully upgrade themselves.   I haven't tested this personally.
