Run command from hyperlink in form?

Is it possible to run a command from a form similiar to the way links work in the home panel or feature descriptions? 

Something along the lines of this where the link at the bottom (Get Animal Species Report) would fire off a report for the location?

/customer/servlet/servlet.FileDownload?file=00P6000000em1ONEAY

  I'd like to know if there was any answer for this... I have tried using the inline HTML with RunWorkflowWithArguments as you can use in a feature hyperlink, but it doesn't seem to work for a hyperlink inside a DisplayForm.
