DynamicExternal - Only Select Limited Features

I'm trying to modify the forum's Extract.xaml workflow to allow for more feature selections. But I'm not quite sure how the DynamicExternal activity works?

When I run the workflow in my  site, it only picks the water map service and ignores the rest.

Can someone please explain how the DynamicExternal activity works and how I can expand the features to select from?

  Walter,

   

  The DynamicExternal activity in this case is reading the layer list from the GPServer/Geoprocessing Task you would have specified during set up.   Any layer(s) that you would like to be available for Extract need to be configured in the associated Geoprocessing Task. Take a look at section 13.5 Data Extraction in the Geocortex Viewer for Silverlight 2.2 Administration and Developer Guide ... it lays out in general terms how the Extract worlflow(s) work and includes links to relevant Esri documentation for configuring the geoprocessing service.
