Feature Maps not respecting layer visibility settings
I'm working on setting up a GE 4.0.2 site with the GVS 2.1. When I added one of my reports that uses feature maps, I noticed that the maps are showing layers I don't have turned on in my layer list. It looks like all layers that are on by default my AGS map services (but off by default in my GE site) are visible in my feature maps. If I uncheck the entire map service in my layer list, then they won't draw. But if the map service is checked on but the individual layers are unchecked, it shows them in my feature map.
Is this a bug? I'd hate to have to publish all my AGS map services with all layers off by default just to make GE feature maps work.

I didn't, no. 0 -
Hi Andrew,
It looks like we did previously get this filed as a bug, GE-4652. It was described as "Layers that are excluded from site but visible in service will draw on feature maps when service is visible but no configured layers are visible". The issue was marked as fixed in Essentials version 4.3. If you're using a newer version than that, you may want to open a support case so that we can determine if there's a new problem and try to figure out specifically which conditions cause it.
Thanks!
