Can you query or identify a wms yet?

I have added a wms service to my essentials site:

http://torka.unl.edu:8080/cgi-bin/mapserv.exe?map=/ms4w/apps/dm/service/usdm140513_wms.map&SERVICE=WMS&REQUEST=GetMap&LAYERS=usdm140513&WIDTH=640&HEIGHT=480&srs=EPSG:4326&styles=default&format=image/png&bbox=-165,15,-60,80

 

this map loads ok into essentials, but i cannot identify or select items.  do i need a special extension or is there some other problem.

  You can identify / query on your layers in the Viewer for Silverlight. You can configure the identify / query behavior by changing the query provider property of the map service (to configure WMS vs WFS querying for instance). This functionality has been availability through an extension for some time. With the 4.0 release, we made the functionality available without purchasing the extension.

  The Viewer for HTML does not support this functionality yet.

  Hi Jeff,

  any ideas on if and when this will be incorporated into the html5viewer? It's highly missed.
