Save Edits button to prompt user to save unsaved edits

the Save Edits button for the editing tools region does not prompt the user to save 'unsaved edits' so our users are swapping target edit layers thinking they are in an edit session where one click of the save edits button at the end will save all edits across all target layers. They are telling us that they are losing features that they think have been added. You can see the edits on the screen, so that does not exacerbates the issue, but we've done a quick test and sure enough you do need to save edits between swapping target layers. It's a training issue - yes, but we still think it's an issue in the UX... as it's not immediately obvious.

Can you please consider a prompt for the user to save any unsaved edits if they do try to change target edit layers before saving?
