Workflow could not be opened or is invalid

Permanently deleted user

I had worked on this workflow last week but today when I open it I get a message that says:

The file <file_name> could not be loaded or was not a valid workflow"

 

Any help is appreciated!

  Sometime if I try to open the workflow from file explorer I get an error. 

  But if I open it directly from Workflow Designer (ie. Open>FileName), it works.
