    More information would help diagnose your problem.  What viewer version and release of essentials are you using?  Are you getting any errors, or does the splash screen just disappear?  Do you see layers listed in the layer list?  Have you tried fiddler, looked at log files, or held down "Shift" then hit "Esc" twice to see browser messages?  I think I had a similar problem after applying a patch to the server running GCX back when I was testing it, but it has been too long...

     I have not had a chance to look at logs produced by the site, but Fiddler did not give any indication of an error or other issue. We are running silver light 2.0 and GeoCortex essentials 4.0.

    Are you using any ArcGIS Online services? I saw an email on a listserv today that there were some issues.

    From the thread: "I had hoped that I was the only one with ArcGIS Online base map issues today.  Unfortunately, many are experiencing slow response times and system hangs when trying to connect to these services."
