Viewer Configuration - New Connection String including data from Geometric Network

We have an existing Water Utility map service published from Database 1 (NAD83 Florida State Plane)

We now are migrating our data into a separate database with which some of the layers from the existing map service now participate in a geometric network. To minimize configuation time, we thought we could just replace the connection string with the new service published from the new database & keep all the existing configurations for every layer (map tips, pop ups, feature descriptions, etc). I've pointed all the data (resourcing) to the new database in a new .mxd & republished the service. One I replaced the connection string with this new service (exact same layer order) I get the following message below.

"The service URL supplied does not represent a map service which is logically equivalent to this map service. If you are changing the service URL, you must point to a map service which has the same projection and layer list as the current map service."

Is this a result of certain feature classes within the previous map service not being apart of the geometric network?
