4.2 Version - Layer Display Config multiple scales
HI all,
We have a large number of services that are symbolized via zoom levels, 600, 1200, 2400, etc. In the GE 4.1 I could collapse those by unchecking the Include in Layers option but leaving the features turned on, so the user could just turn on or off say 'City Water Utilities' and the features would turn on at whatever scale level they were at. In 4.2 I think I get the new 'Layers List' tab (but then again maybe not), but I don't see a way to not have the user see all the scale levels below a particular folder. See screen shot below. In my Map Services tab, my services are grayed out at the higher levels, but I can turn the features off individually, again not really getting me where I want to be. Hope that make sense.
Thanks for the help,
Brian

Ok, just to add on. I got it working as I would expect it to within the Layer Tab, by turning off the top level and on all the other levels. Still can't seem to make everything under the top level invisable to the user, but they would have to click the + to open those. The real hook is that, any site I have still using the HTML5 2.2 viewer is not configured to handle the new settings and is a jumble. So be aware, when you move to GE 4.2, move your HTML5 view to 2.3 at the same time.
Thanks!
Brian
