GE 4.2.1 - redirect not allowed on sign in
Getting an error in 4.2.1, "The redirect URL 'http://xxxxx/Html5Viewer/Index.html?configBase=http://xxxxx/Geocortex/Essentials/REST/sites/Weld_County_Fiber/viewers/WCFiber/virtualdirectory/Resources/Config/Default' is not allowed. Add the URL to the appropriate audience."
The redirect is to a local server, and allowable redirect ruls > allow all local redirects is checked.
Thoughts?

Hello Jake,
You may need to enter the base URL for your server. From your example, try adding 'http://xxxx/', without the 's, to the Allowable Redirect URLs, click Add, and Apply Details.
Let me know if this works for you.

Thanks! This worked for me in GE 4.3

I’m in trouble with this issue.
As any permission role is activated, then this frustrating message appear. However, if no any permissions plan is activated, this this message disappears
How to fix it?

Again! I’m struggling with this very frustration error.
The redirect URL 'http://geomolg.ps/L5/index.html' is not allowed.
Any thought to fix this error?

Hi Jamal,
The thing that stands out to me in your screenshot is that the redirect URL is using http, which indicates something is not set up to use https. Can you edit the Identity Server and ensure it is using https?
As you probably know, once you elect to use https, you must use https everywhere.
Regards,

Manty thanks Wayne for the answer.
It is https everywhere as it appears in the screenshots below

There are so many places to check. Can you go to the Security & Data tab in Essentials Manager and edit the Geocortex Identity Server and check the URL?

Please, find the screenshot below

Looks good, the hunt continues. Have a look inside these two files, make sure they reference https and not http :
C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Manager\App_Data\RestManagerSettings.xml
C:\Program Files (x86)\Latitude Geographics\Geocortex Essentials\Default\REST Elements\Sites\Templates\Templates.xml
If you change something or if something was changed recently, clear the browser cache or use an InCognito window to try again.
Regards,
Wayne0 -
Thanks for the prompt help. the content of the two files is below
_img_ alt="User-added image" src="https://latitudegeo--c.na53.content.force.com/servlet/rtaImage?eid=907f200000013s3&feoid=Body&refid=0EMf2000000xFwc" _/_img_0 -
Please change the Template.xml URL to use https and clear your cache and try again.
Thanks,Wayne
