Some map features aren't printing
I just upgraded to GE 4.2 and GVS 2.3 and HTML5 2.3. Some of my tiled services that show up in the viewer are no longer on the print template when I print a map. Also, some of my regular operational services aren't showing up on the print template either. Any suggestions?

I am having a similar issues with a OGC WMTS not printing in either Silverlight or HTML5, yet the WMS from the same service does. I have a job logged with our local reseller, who has forwarded it to Latitude, but as yet I have had no response.

What image format did you choose when caching the service? I had previously cached my tiled service using PNG but I just redrew the cache using PNG 32 and that seemed to fix the issue. Try using PNG 24 or 32 and let me know if either one of those worked for you.

I have tried redrawing with all the options available and have also changed the resolution. Unfortunately nothing seems to work.

I finally got in touch with Latitudes and there is a bug in Essentials that will be fixed in the next release. The default visibility for tiled services has to be set to "True" and the images will print. However, I need to have these layers turned off by default. I emailed them today to see if there is a workaround for now and I am awaiting a response.

Same problem same "solution". I have a couple of WMS services that are set as 'Base'. However they needed to be all checked on in Essentials Manager otherwise they don't print from the Viewer, even though they are turned on by the user and are visible. Obviously having all basemaps turned on by default isnt a practical solution longterm, but at least I have narrowed it down to what appears to be a bug in the application rather than an issue with the map services.

Same issue here. Hope they patch this soon!

There is a temporary workaround if you place the map service in a folder (as long as you are running GE 4.2), and make the folder not visible, but the map service visible, then it won't show up by default in the viewer, however if you set the folder to visible and print, it will appear in the printed map.

I am having the same issue. None of my tiled services will show up on the print. I tried to create a folder "base maps", made the folder visible and added all tiled layers to it, but it still would not work. Does any one know when the new release of Geocortex is coming up?

This is related to that layer theme bug a version or so back.
In your map layers turn ALL of the raster layers ON and then in Layer themes create a new layer theme, set it to default, and uncheck the allow all layers. If you already use layer themes create a new layer theme with the same name as the all layers, set it as default, and then uncheck the use all layers.
You should be able to print after this is done.
