Print Template not Working
I spent the better half of my morning building a print template while remembering to save my work often. When I was satisfied with the completed .rpx file, I attempted to load it to my site. Go to click on Print Map in my Silverlight Map Viewer, and receive an error message saying I need to contact the system administrator.
So I go back and open up report designer and I try to load that same. rpx file, and I receive an error that states the following:
Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. Input string was not in a correct format.
I am trying to avoid using up my purchased support hours by hopefully diagnosing the problems myself, but I usually get no where.
This application seems to have a lot of issues and bugs. If only geocortex could be fully integrated into ArcGIS so that I could customize my own print templates using the powerful tools of ArcMap and saving it as file that can be identified by my Silverlight map viewer application. Perhaps there is a way to do this and avoid using report designer alltogether?

I just had this happen to me. I got the "Input string was not in a correct format".
I can't explain why it appeared but I soldiered on and rebuilt my report piece by piece. I found that the Main Map frame element from the Geocortex Essentials components of the Report Designer seemed to be causing the problem (after adding this as the final piece my report would cause the error).
I replaced the Main Map frame with the Picture frame element, since that's all the Main Map component really was, and my report functioned fine afterwards.
